Clarion DB625MP CD Player Clarion's engineers designed the DB625MP CD/MP3 receiver for the growing number of Internet music fans. There's plenty of high power on hand
to supercharge your MP3 discs, and the 3-band adjustability of the Beat EQ to get them sounding great. The Clarion DB625MP Magi-Tune tuner is one of the best available
- you can count on its station-pulling power to find all the available AM and FM entertainment.
The dot matrix display on the detachable faceplate has a contrast adjustment for 24/7 visibility. When you slide in an MP3 disc, your file names
and folders will scroll across the display as you step from tune to tune. If you're into system expansion, two sets of preamp outputs
are provided for connection to external amplifiers.
Display Type: This unit features a dot matrix display.
Display Dimming: Clarion DB625MP is equipped with a wire that Clarion calls an illumination lead, however, it acts as
a dimmer lead. When the illumination wire of this unit is connected to the headlamp circuit of your vehicle,
and you turn your lights on, the display will dim to a preset level. The display brightness is not affected by
the vehicle's dimmer control. This feature can be turned on or off.
Contrast Adjustment: The Clarion DB625MP display contrast may be adjusted from "0" to "10" for optimum readability.
3-Band Beat EQ: 6 EQ curves are preset into memory, allowing you to recall the best preset EQ curve for
different types of music. The preset curves are named "Flat", "Rock", "Pops", "Easy", "Top 40", and "Jazz".
In addition, you may store your own settings under the "User Memory" EQ curve. Each preset has its own
bass, middle, and treble level settings.
Speaker Setting: This function tailors the Clarion DB625MP Beat EQ settings according to the type of speakers in your vehicle.
You may select a speaker setting of "SP OFF" (flat), "SP OEM" (for OEM factory speaker systems), "SP 6*9/6"
(for systems with 6" and 6"x9" speakers), or "SP 5/4" (for systems with 4" and 5" speakers).
Volume Offset Control: The level of each source may be independently adjusted to prevent radical leaps in
output volume when switching from one source to another. The available settings range from -8 to 0.
Station Name Preset (SNPS): This Clarion DB625MP feature allows you to assign names to radio stations. Up to 32 FM stations and
16 AM stations can be named. Each name can be up to 8 characters in length.
CD Naming: The DNPS (Disc Name Preset) feature can be used to enter names, up to 8 characters long, into
memory for up to 30 discs.
Clean Reception System Circuit (CRSC): This circuit controls multi-path distortion by reducing stereo separation.
As stereo separation is reduced, Clarion DB625MP multi-path has less effect on the radio signal, improving reception in areas with
tall buildings and mountains.
MP3 Playback: This unit can play CD-ROM, CD-R, and CD-RW discs containing MP3 files recorded using
the ISO 9660 Level 1, ISO 9660 Level 2, Joliet, or Romeo formats. Each disc can have a maximum of 8 directory
levels, 50 folder, and 255 files per folder. ID3 tag v1 is supported.
Disabled System Indicator: When the face is removed, a red LED blinks on the front panel of the radio. The
disabled system indicator can be deactivated.
Note:Display Illumination/Clock Display: When the unit is in Standby mode, the face/button illumination is
"keyed". In addition, while the unit is in Standby mode, the Clock Display can be turned on or off using the
DISP button. When the Clarion DB625MP Clock Display is turned on and the unit is in Standby mode, the Clock Display is also "keyed".
Pressing and holding the Function (FNC) button turns the unit off completely.
