The
Kuzma Stabi turntable
Seen above is the highly acclaimed Kuzma Stabi turntable and Stogi Reference tonearm. Made from richly finished
oak, the base and cover help provide natural dampening and rigidity. The subchassis is made from MDF wood which
is suspended from a silicone oil enclosed spring structure. Kuzma Stabi platter is machined from a piece of solid aluminum
while rubber insures are used to assist in reducing music damaging resonant vibrations. A PVC record clamp is also
included. The Stogi Reference tonearm is conical in shape and also made from a solid piece of aluminum. An extremely
high precision ABEC7 bearing is used for incredibly low friction/resistance.
Kuzma Stabi is a suspended subchassis turntable. The lid, sides and main plinth are constructed of solid oak and the lid is topped
with a sheet of smoked glass. The medial subchassis is suspended from four springs which are damped in four oil reservoirs. This
suspension is simply adjusted by four black knobs on the top plate. The Kuzma Stabi is additionally fitted with adjustable legs for
levelling the plinth ending in spiked feet which can if desired be covered with the protective cups also supplied.

The shaft is highsly polished and is supported in the bearing at five points ensuring no movement, low constant friction
and minimum vibration. The staft is fixed in the supplatter which is turned by a belt.
The motor is fixed on a metal plate, decoupled from the turntable via rugber inserts. The platter is of painted
aluminium and wighs 3 kg and has a rubber ring inserted for extra damping. The turntable also comes equipped with a mat and a
record clamp.
Stabi has its own power supply which enables the motor to rotate with the minimum of vibration and constant torque. It is
quartz controlled split phase with internal .4% speed adjustment. The signal is amplified by two 20W amplifiers.
The lid is of solid oak and smoked glass controlled by heavy, custom made hinges, which allow for lid removal. This lid protects both record and tonearm from airborne vibration. There is, in addition, a clamp which screws onto the shaft to flatten the record and reduce vibration. The drive is the same as Stabi S, but the bearing uses a five point, zero play shaft. The material used is a plastic, filled with carbon particles for low friction and stability. The subchassis is 50 mm medite plate which carries the bearing and armboard. The latter is suitable for a variety of tonearms. The four point silicone damped spring suspension is easily adjustable from the turntable top.
The turntable has its own electronic power supply in a separate box . Kuzma Stabi Quarz generated signals are amplified by two
power amplifiers, which power the motor with pure, sineous waves. The unit allows for speed changes of 33 and 45 rpm,
as well as fine adjustments of speed.
